At the 4th alarm in Boston this morning, the dispatcher was heard
conducting PAR checks on Ch 1, Ch 2, Ch 3, and Ch 4 simultaneously. The
dispatchers voice was heard on all 4 channels at the same time. Field units
were answering on Ch 2 (the fireground channel for the fire)

PAR wording was - "Engine 7 do you have PAR?" - "Engine 7 has PAR minus the
pump operator" - "OK Engine 7 you have PAR"

At one point there was an emergency alarm activation. The signal came from
'Rescue 1 Alpha'. The dispatcher spoke to 'Rescue 1 Officer' to clear the
situation.

Sometimes the dispatcher could be heard transmitting on Ch 1 and 453.65 at
the same time.
