When calling 911 -
Be prepared to spell the name of the street or place - you can say -
"Main St - thats M - a - i - n Street" - or maybe - "Main St, thats M
like money, a like apple, i like idaho, n like nancy" - or ("A as in
Apple")
Also be prepared to clarify any numbers. If the connection is bad -
say - "three, like one two three" - or - "four - like one two three
four" - or - "five, one two three four five" - or "five, the number
between 4 and 6"
