2 firefighters almost got roasted in a house fire what was the real problem here? My guess is - no one told the outside company to hit the fire on the first floor why didnt anyone tell them to hit the fire? maybe they did. maybe the TRS sucks - which it does - for many many reasons yes - they use a TRS - but beyond that - no matter what type of radio system they use - they had probably 30 people with radios at that scene - and only 1 radio channel (TG) assigned - and only 1 person could speak at a time there is the real problem (of course - if they didnt have any radios at all - the IC would have been in the front yard yelling at the crew in the rear to hit the fire on the first floor - maybe we need to ban all portable radios at firescenes) am I right or what? -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "massfire" group.
