I got a Windows update today of 61.5 MB. My computer gave me 2 notices that said "System Thread Exception Not Handled" - then automatic repair did not work - then I hit 'restore" - after about 15 minutes to seems to have sorted itself out - afterwards I noticed that it was an "optional" update
