I have to give them credit. This is probably the only media outlet that will do a story on FD response times in 2015. Pecatonica FPD has an average 34 minute response time. Chief says average response time is actually 8 minutes. They must run alot of mutual aid calls vs their local calls. Too bad they dont list turnout time vs travel time. Finding info about volunteer FD turnout times is damn near impossible. Even though it is recorded for each and every call. Every wires down call. Every outhouse fire. Every cat in a tree call. Dispatch time and rolling out the door time is always recorded - even for FDs that have 1 call per year. Furnace Creek CA I'm looking at you.
