News report - talked to civil engineering professor in ?Worcester -
he poured some water on a little pile of snow - he said the typical
Worcester house might have 7,000 pounds of wet snow on the roof

I dont remember the exactly exact words that the reporter used - but I
got - "it is like dropping a SUV on your house - but most homes can
withstand it - but be sure to shovel your roof"

WTF ?????????

Very vague - very professional looking news report - but very confusing

Bootom bottom line - I dont remember anyone ever dying in a roof
collapse in New England caused by snow
