well explained I dont think that any agencies in New England use this Los Angeles City FD does use this type of radio scheme. If an emergency alarm is activated by any LAFD radio, the radio should change over to Channel 6. Sometimes you will hear the dispatcher on Channel 6 reporting that a emergency alarm has been received, and attempting to contact the radio. (In other words - LAFD has their Channel 6 dedicated to just receiving emergency alarms from LAFD radios - Ch 6 is not used for anything else) -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "massfire" group.
