Westhampton FD added an ambulance to their fleet in 2014. The photo is at firemews.org. It was bought used from some other FD IIRC.
Presently, Westhampton FD staffs that ambulance with 2 on call EMTs from 4 PM to midnight daily. I suspect that Pioneer Valley Amb provides ambulance coverage at all other times. Per a SOP on the Westhampton FD website, backup ambulance service to Westhampton is provided by (in order) - Pioneer Valley Amb then Easthampton Amb then Northampton Fire than Southampton Fire then Hilltown Amb then Highland Amb This is an interesting staffing concept for a small town. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "massfire" group.
