last night I saw it again - but I figured out it was a jetliner at least 1 time - it is a bright white light that points right at me for about 5 minutes - then it dims out and moves to the right - jets coming into Logan from the west must be flying some new headings now - some of which head straight at me - so I can see them as 1 bright unmoving light for 5 to 10 minutes
- I have always been able to see the jets coming in from 50 or more miles away -I should probably try to use Flight tracker to see just how far away they are when I first see them - I suspect they are out around Quabbin Reservoir when I first see them - maybe 100 miles to my west -if they are going 300 MPH then that is 5 miles per minute - if I see them for 10 minutes, then I guess they are 50 miles away when I first see them - yeah, that seems about right - 15 minutes would be 75 miles away On Sat, May 2, 2015 at 8:29 AM, Peter S <[email protected]> wrote: > Drone over Arlington Heights again last night > > ------------------------------------- > > Didnt I post this earlier?
