just thinking out loud 2013 USA - 11,000 murdered by guns - 21,000 suicides by guns - 33,000 injured by firearms
(there might be some overlap there but not too much - murder / suicide is kinda rare) Even the most rural Alaskan village gets a shipload of supplies every 6 months - even they dont need to kill animals to live - and if they just gotta kill something, they can use bow and arrows, spears, fishing hooks, or their bare hands I have never heard of anyone in Maine being killed by a wild animal. It is extremely rare. Most people know enough to go into their house or car if a bear is nearby. Most bears have not figured out how to open doors yet. Maybe the only person that really NEEDS a gun in the USA is the rancher in Texas or Wyoming that is one hour from the nearest cop or game warden. Even then, I doubt that most of the most desolate ranchers spend much time defending their place from maurading wild animals. Wild animals dont need to attack ranches or ranches to stay alive. If anyone thinks they need a gun to fight the government - if you think that your pea shooter can stop an Apache - then gawd love ya. Question - is there a direct connection between the number of guns owned by a man and the number of cheeseburgers he eats everyday? whats the ideal patty to caliber ratio? -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "massfire" group.
