In Middlesex County in Massachusetts - 453.3875 R - Ashland FD conducted rollcall as the Mass Fire / EMS Mobilization District 14 Control Point (my words)
Availability given was - Acton - missed them Boxboro - 1 engine and 0 ladders Carlisle 0 and 0 Concord 1 and 1 Framingham 1 and 1 Holliston 1 and 1 Hopedale 1 and 1 Hopkinton 1 and 0 Hudson 1 and 1 Lincoln 1 or 1 Marlborough 1 and 1 Maynard 1 or 1 Milford 1 and 1 Natick 1 and 1 Northborough 1 or 1 Sherborn 1 or 1 Shrewsbury 1 and 1 Southboro 1 and 0 Stow 1 and 0 Sudbury 1 and 1 or 1 or 1 Wayland 1 or 1 Westborough 1 or 1 also called was State (Forestry) 14-0 little static coming thru the repeater at times (middle to end of test) - it came over D14 and over (Sudbury IIRC) - I think this is a long existing problem These availabilitys are probably based on - typical on duty staffing, and no more than 1/3 of available units. Most of these FDs have at least 3 people in all of their stations 24/7. Most of the FDs operate ambulances also. All of the FDs do EMS first response calls. Sherborn and Carlisle might be the only FDs without 3 people in the station 24/7. I think that Carlisle has just a FT paid chief and all vol FFs. Sherborn might have 2 EMTs in the station 24/7 to staff their ambulance. The citys and towns are in Middlesex County and Worcester County. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "massfire" group.
