711 AM - report of a car into a house - 80 Wood Ave - kids running away - unknown on injurys - 2 cops sent
1. no point racing around with sirens blaring if you go to the wrong location - number 8 Wood Ave is not the same as number 80 Wood Ave 2. no need to delay the FD and ambulance response by 3 minutes - (dispatcher actually sent FD and amb at 713 AM - PD requested FD at 714 AM) 3. no need to send more than 1 ambulance because it is unpossible that more than 1 ambulance would be needed - and besides - you can throw 2 victims into 1 ambulance and take them to Cape Cod Hospital (at 731 AM) 4. no need to give a good description of the perp - just say "adult with a white bandana" 5. no need to give any further updates till 723 AM - perp was in blue jersey and blue pants with white hat 6. no need to update direction of flight until 729 AM - "neighbor saw him run up Dillingham" fail fail - fail fail - (like on Seinfeld when Elaine said "fake, fake, - fake, fake") (#6 might not be a real fail) also - 721 AM - want K9? - yup 722 AM - request bld inspector 730 AM ish - request gas company maybe 740 AM - request water company for inside water leak lets add up the cumulative delays on this call - 1 minute for going to wrong location - 3 minutes for FD - infinite for 2nd amb - 10 minutes on K9 - 11 minutes on bld inspector - 12 minutes on good clothing description - 19 minutes on gas company - 30 minutes on water company - thats a grand total of infinity plus 86 minutes in delays on mobilization -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "massfire" group.
