Cigarettes kill 6 million per year around the world

IIRC motor vehicle crashes kill 1.4 million people per year around the world

Therefore we can say that cigarettes kill nearly 6 times more people
than crashes

I doubt if there is very much overlap between those 2 causes of death
- i dont think that many people are smoking when they crash - although
I might be wrong about that - maybe cigarette smoking causes drivers
to be distracted
