Listening to Pownal VT feed tonight - 154.31 1804 PM - tone set - "Pownal and Pownal Valley weekly tone test" - "Pownal Valley, drill cancelled for this evening" - then - about 5 seconds later - the same test was repeated - same tone set and I think it was the same exact words - but with just a hair more static
My guess is that the first test came off a mountain top transmitter - and the 2nd test was the first test being repeated by a playback device (store and repeat) at one of the fire stations ----------------- 1815 PM - Berkshire County did tone tests tone set - "Adams Fire" - tone set - "Alford Fire" - tone set - "Becket Fire County Tower" - pause - tone set - "Becket Amb County Tower" - tone set - "Becket Chief County Tower" - tone set - pause - 2 tone sets - 2 tone sets repeated (maybe weaker than first 2 tone sets) - Cheshire Chief County Tower and Florida Tower - audio repeated 2nd time weaker - Cheshire Fire - XX Chief County Tower I dont know what to make of all of that - possibly 2 different bases are being used - plus an echo device (store and forwward repeater) in Florida maybe Maybe they hit some wrong tones near the end ???????
