Here is a very simple diagram that shows you a radio repeater It is a very very very simple diagram - go ahead, look at it - it will only take you 2 seconds to understand it ---------------------------------------- If I could add one thing I would add - the radio signal going from the guy on the left up to the top of the hill is on Frequency A - and the signal coming down from the top of the hill to the guy on the right is on Frequency B - the bottom line is - 2 different freqs are in use here (Freq A is typically called the 'input freq" - and Freq B is typically called the "output" freq - which makes sense, right? - the radio waves from the guy on the left are going 'into' the repeater - and the radio waves going down the hill are coming 'out' of the repeater) -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "massfire" group.
