Anybody have any info about the Gardner MA FD radio system? They seem to have 154.13 simplex patched to 453.125 R. And they seem to have 154.355 as a 2ndary channel on VHF.
Anybody know why they are set up this way? I wonder if the 154.13 is meant to coordinate with area FDs that are on VHF highband? Anybody ever listen to 458.125 for traffic on the input to the 453.125 repeater? If they wanted to get really funky they could use 154.355 as an input to a repeater on 154.13. That would allow units on VHF highband to get a word in edgewise when there is a lot of traffic on the UHF side of the patch. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "massfire" group.
