7 AM radio check with Med 2 medic and others on 460.80 R I think there was a pending call for "Saint Elizabeths to MGH designated" - and there was a transport underway from Holy Family (Hospital in Methuen MA)
"designated" means the patient has been randomly assigned to go to MGH per trauma protocol - maybe random is the wrong word - maybe it means the patient has been intentionally assigned to be transported to MGH based on a rotation schedule - they might send the first trauma patient to MGH - 2nd to NEMC - 3rd to BMC/BCH - 4th to Brigham - 5th to BI - then repeat the scheme -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "massfire" group.
