Orleans Mass had a water incident of some sort Seems that Orleans typically has 3 people in the station 24/7 - all 3 get in the ambulance and go to ALS calls &BLS calls also - they probably take a pumper to any fire calls - it is common to page off duty firefighters anytime the ambulance has to transport a victim to the hospital in Hyannis (30 miles away)
(I just post this to show the mobilization times) 849 AM - 171 to Station 1 - request ambulance to Pilgrim Lake for shortness of breath (apparently this is Firefighter Medeiros calling the Orleans Fire Station directly via radio for an ambulance - instead of calling the County dispatcher who is also on the channel) 849 AM - Amb 172 signs on with 3 people - at ALS level 854 AM - request page of all FD receivers - full FD recall for water search - request small boat - want Dive Team? - yes - Tier 1 or Tier 2? - 2 855 AM - 3 tone sets transmitted for full FD recall 856 AM - request USCG Air 902 AM - request Mass State Police helo ASAP 903 AM - 179 responding 903 AM - Chatham 170 responding with 1 FF and Marine 603 - also 1 Chatham diver responding from home 905 AM - Herring Brook Road for staging 907 AM - Harwich truck 910 responding with 2 divers 909 AM - (Brewster) responding with Car 232 & Boat & Car 230 & Dive trailer 911 AM - Amb 174 at scene 911 AM - Chatham ? 180 responding ? 913 AM - want an Ops Channel? - yes - use Ops 1 C4 914 AM - Joint base Squad 415 responding with dive trailer 915 AM - 174 at staging - switching to Ops 1 915 AM - 116 on 917 AM - Yarmouth Squad 50 responding with 3 divers 919 AM - Chatham Car 180 at scene with 1 FF - 1 diver responding from home ' (all traffic switched to Ops 1 apparently) 940 AM - Sqd 50 and Sqd 415 returning to station 950 AM - Eastham Eng 155 on to cover Orleans Station 952 AM - Amb 172 at hospital I dont know the story - maybe the news will have more details -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "massfire" group.
