Possibly unused "fire" freqs in Vermont fire is in quotes because the freqs can be used by any public safety entity - however - they are primarily amongst the freqs previously exclusively assigned to FDs
ie - FDs used to have all the freqs from 154.13 to 154.445 - and 33.42 to 33.98 - and 46.06 to 46.50 - plus 460.525 460.55 460.575 460.60 460.625 (but 460.525 and 460.55 got switched to EMS use) Anyhow - this is the Vermont list - 153.9275 153.9425 153.9575 153.9875 154.0175 154.0475 154.0625 154.1075 154.1375 154.1525 154.1675 154.1825 154.1975 154.2125 154.2275 154.2425 154.2575 154.2725 154.2875 154.3025 154.3175 154.3325 154.3475 154.3625 154.3775 154.3925 154.4075 154.4225 154.4375 I reckon that any of these might get heavy interference from users in Canada or adjacent states - I dont have the super dooper database with mapping capability that the feds and freq advisors have - but if I had to guess - I would guess that 80% of these freqs could be used without limitation anywhere in Vermont - especially as repeater input channels or HT or mobile only channels. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "massfire" group.
