it was just a call for burning odor in bld some companies were going to Moon Island for "Back To Basics" training - they were all "covered" - which means - even if they were normally assigned on the first alarm, there was no need for them to respond since other units had been sent in place of them
ie - if the first alarm running card for the box said E24 E17 E21 - if all three of them were going to Moon Island for training - then the dispatchers sent E20 E16 E52 instead to the fire call - [ie 24 17 21 "were covered"] --------------------------------------------- Car 8 went for Car 7 ---------------------------------- "E17 and L7 continue to Moon Island" - after the allout on the box ------------------------------------------ The Ch 2 BFD feed at Broadcastify works fine Car 8 (on Ch2) gave instructions for 2nd due Ladder to go in off Freeport St - I think that the dispatcher answered Car 8 on the C Tac channel -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "massfire" group.
