recorded live video - police chief and PIO speak to local news reporter as helos whirl around 2 miles outside of Yreka CA - PIO didnt have the phone number for the large animal rescue service so she found the info within 5 minutes for the reporter keywords - power of the news media in emergency situations I assume this was live streamed at the time via Facebook or maybe via Periscope or Ustream or some other Internet service Great view of the Incident Command Post as the fire burns in the hills - I didnt realize how far this fire had spread - they ultimately lost 5 outbuildings and 5 homes As I reported earlier - CalFire responded to this fire in about 5 minutes - but it was not quick enough to get a fast knockdown - unknown how big it was when first reported -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "massfire" group.
