- local cops vow to refuse mass roundup orders

Trump in a “60 Minutes” interview Sunday pledged to act fast on his
immigration agenda and said he could deport up to 3 million “criminal”
illegal aliens beginning when he takes office." There are not three
million criminal illegal aliens to remove. Trump has said that he
would remove two to three million criminal” illegal aliens. When asked
where he got that number, a Trump spokesman pointed to the Department
of Homeland Security fiscal 2013 report saying there were 1.9 million
“removable criminal aliens.” Apparently neither Trump, nor his people
know that the term alien refers to all people who are here that are
not citizens and includes people who are here legally. There are 22.4
million aliens in the US and 11.4 million are here legally. The
estimate for convicted illegal immigrants that could be removed is
820,000. Hundreds of thousands of illegal aliens are removed each
year, but 23 countries refuse to take them back. So, while there are
two million criminal aliens that could be removed, less than half are
here illegally. Every time Trump speaks on one of his policies, it's
clear that he has no facts.

=============================

Bottom line -

apparently there are 22.4 million "non citizens" in the USA - they
cannot vote and they cannot sponsor other immigrants

of the 22.4 million "non citizens" - apparently 11 million DO have
green cards - they are legal immigrants - they have permission from
the USA government to live and or work in the USA

of the 22.4 million "non citizens" - apparently 11 million do NOT have
green cards - they are illegal immigrants

the commenter seems to be saying that there are 1.9 removable criminal
aliens (non citizens) but 50% of them have green cards - and we don't
throw people out of the country if they have a green card (unless they
kill some VIP)

Just as a reminder - to become a citizen, an immigrant (who has lived
in the USA for 7 years) has to pay $700 and pass a test with 100
questions in English
