listening to 460.60R today at 1139 AM 1139 - Arlington Eng 3 dispatched to 27 Drake Rd for old person with heart attack - this is elderly housing by the Lexington line
1139 - I hear Eng 3 siren 1140 - I see Eng 3 responding westbound past Town Hall - Eng 3 is based in Arlington Heights near Drake Rd but they are in Arlington Center for some reason - probably for training Engine 3 "forgets" to call off at scene -their response time was probably 6 or 7 minutes Paramedic 3 arrives at scene at 1148 AM (Paramedic 3 responded from Winchester) 1200 - Eng 3 reports no transport ------------------------- There is a Lexington fire station with a pumper and a ALS ambulance about 1 mile west of Drake Road but they are never sent to Drake Road - their response time is probably 3 or 4 minutes to Drake Road in Arlington Arlington Eng 3 usually has a 4 minute response time to Drake Road There might have been an Arlington cop that arrived first at the scene --------------------------- keywords - manipulation of response time statistics - falsification of response time statistics Note to self - check for other instances of "forgetting" to announce arrival on calls with longer response times -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "massfire" group.
