I am not sure exactly what happened - it seems that a dumpster was burning at the rear of a building - by the time a small pumper got there with 2 guys (maybe), the fire had spread to the building - then they had to wait for the retained engine to arrive - by which time the building was a total loss I dont know what the real story is - maybe the station has 2 paid guys on duty backed up by retained (on call) firefighters - maybe the 2 paid guys came from a distant station - dont know - maybe the paid guys had a choice between the mini pumper and a full sized pumper - dont know - maybe they both get fired if 1 guy drives each truck, and the retained firefighters meet them at the scene - like they would do in the USA - maybe - dont know - maybe the bld is better off as rubble anyhow - dont know keywords - mobilization - response procedures - response policy - response policies - activation SOP -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "massfire" group.
