BOTTOM LINE - this article gives you NO idea what the total death toll is ==================== rant follows this is such total crap 1. it has been over 2 weeks since the fire and just now they are reporting that all visible bodies have been recovered 2. no contact was made with anyone in 23 apartments - what does that mean? - does that mean the real death toll is 80 or 800? 3. 87 body recoveries maybe means 80 bodies (apparently they are collecting parts of bodies) 4. wouldnt you think by now they would have a real good idea of the real death toll? you talk to the survivors - ask who is missing from their apartments - you ask them who lived in their neighbors apartments 5. lets assume worst case reasonable scenario - 80 dead plus 20 to 40 more bodies in the no contact apartments that were totally incinerated - so the reasonable plausible death toll is 100 to 120 - unless they know that the 23 no contact apartments had large families and they were on the very top floors - and they know that no one got out of the top floors - in which case you would be looking at maybe a total of approx 240 dead people (approx 5 per non contact apt) -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "massfire" group.
