maybe would have been 2,400 critical injuries - but thats OK - the
airport has 2 ambulances

1. tried to land on a "runway" with other aircraft sitting on it? -
why would any pilot try to do that?

2. GPS and ILS give no indication of runway vs taxiway? - they must be
500 feet apart at least I would think

3. I guess there are no big lighted signs at the end of the runway
with the number on them

4. what if the runway was 22 - and you had a big sign with just the
numbers "22" and no background - and then you had another sign that
was just the background for a "22" (you take a square of plywood and
cut out a 22) - then you position the 2 signs so that if the pilot is
following a 7 degree slope he does not see anything - if he is off  a
7 degree slope, then he sees a partial number - I am sure that someone
knows why this does not work - off course these signs would have to be
as big as highway billboards - you would have to make the signs out of
pillows and chicken feathers
