A "all channels message" was heard on 158.91 last night - regarding an overtime opening
this is the federal interops channel - apparently - this channel would allow any federal agent (or any law enforcement agency) with a 'VHF highband only radio' to access Boston Police - assuming that someone at BPD HQ is always monitoring the channel actually - technically / electronically - anyone with a vhf highband radio can access the system - so maybe some fire and es agencies have this freq in their radios also - whether it would be "legal" or not I dont know - depends on what the channel SOP says -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "massfire" group.
