The radio messages were from the IC to the dispatcher. There did not
seem to be any background noises involved. Nor excessive movement of
radios,

Maybe the problem was on the dispatchers end. Maybe he has bad
headphones or lots of ambient noise.

I am listening via a scanner that is listening to 453.90R. The audio
is always just a little hissy and fady to me because I am in a fringe
area for the FB2 signal. I always have to strain to hear messages
because often the dispatcher audio is very low. Today everything
sounded normal (barely readable for me) - but the dispatcher asked for
repeats several times. He would say sonething like - I heard X but not
Y. So apparently the audio was in and out for him also today.
