1. there might be a VFD at Gerritsen Beach but I hear no mention of them in the first 4 minutes of the tape 2. this is just the dispatchers radio channel - none of the FG traffic is heard ------------------------------------------------------- Escalation this is what I heard phone alarm / box for a stove fire - Ladder sent via radio and cancelled - maybe 3 E + 1 L responding at this point - 6 people on each rig - 1 Batt Chf also - for total of 26 people receiving calls for house fire - dispatcher "fills out the assignment" - probably sent 4th engine + 2nd L + Rescue + Squad plus maybe 2nd BC - plus L151 goes as FAST / RIT 10-75 per first engine at scene - not sure what this adds - maybe Rescue and Squad get added here all hands by first engine at scene - I think this just adds 1 Division Chief - or maybe the first engine requested 1 more engine and 1 more ladder 2nd alarm per Bat 33 - this probably gets 4 more engines plus 2 more ladders plus more chiefs and stuff unknown when ambulances are sent let me check the comm manual and try to figure out what the various chapters say In any case - the dispatcher hit the tone 4 times iirc - box + 10-75 + all hands + 2nd alarm - (there was no tone for "filling out the assignment") -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "massfire" group.
