rough transcript of radio traffic on Manhattan Boro channel - via
Broadcastify - live scanner audio - openness

June 10 2019 Monday - it was raining in Manhattan - and low overcast or fog

125 PM tape - action starts 22:33 into tape - which would be 147pm by
my addition

147 pm - box 856 - 1251 6th St - plane into bld

(that was actually the callers location - but they didnt say that initially)

148 - L2 requests more info - just a phone call

149 - caller was at 1251 6th st looking toward Equitable Bld on 6th
between 51 and 52

150 - address of 787 7th st given by dispatcher

150 - request for cross street

151 - just 1 call? - got couple of calls now

151 - Squad 288 on the way

152 - Rescue Battalion are you responding? 10-4

153 - Batt Chief reports he has report of fire on roof (apparently he
is at the Equitable Bld and talking to their security or mtnce)

154 - 2nd alarm requested for 787 7th st w51 w52 plane crash on roof

so we have 7 minutes elapsing between first announcement and request
for 2nd alarm

we also have at least 6 minutes between dispatch and arrival for FD

better than the ESU I guess - took them 15 minutes to figure out what
was going on iirc

anyone remember 9/11?
