3 engines + 1 ladder + Squad 1 on first alarm plus Car 21 Squad 1 is 85 on the radio 39 alpha to Truck 39 - charge the line - (Captain to Pump Operator) doubles at beginning first report onscene was cockloft fully involved full length of building only one 911 call apparently - but dispatcher was reporting smoke in area iirc - car 21 questioned that - seemed to be that fire dispatcher was leaning towards an outside fire rather than an inside fire - this is common - dispatchers play down alot of major calls - they probably are psychologically not prepared to deal with a major emergency at that point in their shift - maybe if they were fresher and earlier in their shift they would be more objective - I am just guessing but I think this IS A THING -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "massfire" group.
