The City of Boston (acting as a regional coordinator) has applied for
a batch of new UHF radio channels to improve public safety comms in
the Greater Boston area. Here is what they are seeking at this time.

Weston - 470.1625 - at 235 Wellesley Ave
Lexington - at Jean Rd water tank - 482.0875
Waltham - at 155 Lexington St - 482.225 - 470.1125
Medford - at 6 Ames St - 482.1375
Melrose at 576 Main St - 470.15
Malden at 250 Main St - 482.0125
Everett at 103 Garland St - 470.0875 - 482.175
(all of the above are probably new FD freqs replacing each individual
community's VHF highband freq)

Cambridge at 40 Thorndike St - 482.05 - 482.025 - 482.1875 - 470.125
Quincy at Ricutti Dr - 482.30 - ERP592
Woburn at Zion Hill - 482.25 - ERP200
(this batch might be regional channels)

Weymouth at 636 Broad St - 482.0625
(this might replace 154.235R for Weymouth FD)

Blue Hill in Milton - 482.075 (this might be a regional channel or a
new channel for Milton FD which presently shares 483.5125R with
Braintree FD)

Lynn at 424 Essex St - 470.175 - 482.2125 - 482.225
Saugus at 6 Taylor St - 482.2625
(these 2 are probably replacing VHF highband FD channels)

600 Atlantic Ave in Boston - 470.20 - 470.0375 - 470.075 - 482.15 -
482.2875 - 470.0125 - 482.0375
35 Northampton St in Boston - 470.075 - 482.2875 - 482.15
(these might be new Police or EMS or Disaster channels)

91 Crest Ave in Chelsea - 470.0125 - 482.0375 - ERP200
Ricutti Dr in Quincy - 470.0125 - 482.0374 - ERP200
(these 2 entries look like new regional channels)

Carroll Way in Revere - 470.0625 - 482.20
91 Crest Ave in Chelsea - 470.05 (simplex) - 470.025 - 482.2375
(these 2 entries are probably replacements for FD VHF highband channels)

All of the freqs are listed as repeaters - except for 1 as indicated
in Chelsea - ERP is usually 50 except some are higher which might
indicate a regional channel - all emissions seem to be listed as
11K3F3E (narrow analog) - there might have been 1 digital regional
channel listed.

The supporting documentation in the FCC applications suggests that
Boston EMS wants to move their 2 primary channels off 462.975 and
462.95 - that a couple of MO3 channels were be implemented - there
will be new simplex fireground channels - 2 new disaster channels -
and new police channels.

Time will tell how much of this pending application stays in its present form.

I dont see any obvious channels for Cambridge or Massport.
