2 miles 6 minutes to scene from hartland fire station - no other
stations are closer
hartland fd webpage says that there station is manned 24/7 - but maybe
they were busy on an ems call - so they had to wait for on call
firefighters to staff the units - they have 4 fulltime staff and run
an als ambulance - they also have at least 1 engine and 1 tower -
(maybe their als amb does not respond to fire calls or waits for call
firefighters to show up at station)
there is a regional fire dispatch center of some sort - they are
called "Dispatch" on the radio tape from broadcastify
per radio tape - took approx 9 minutes for fd to arrive
also - 1 or 2 minutes elapsed between initial page ("pre alert") of
hartland fd for a structure fire - and the later tones for 3 mutual
aid FDs
more FDs were paged 6 or 7 minutes after pre alert for a "level one
working still" - FDs in the area seem to have level 1 and level 2
working stills - level 2 gets coverage - level 1 does not - maybe
