The US Navy finally retiring all C/D models gave the Marines and other
legacy Hornet users a big boost by providing a windfall for spare
parts. What was once a difficult aircraft to source parts for suddenly
became a relatively easy jet to source parts for. Takes a lot of
pressure off buying a replacement aircraft because of spares issues.
