effective immediately - channel 1 is moving to the backup transmitter - all portables will operate on channel 2 unless assigned to a fireground channel - when operating in traffic tunnels or subways use Channel 4 - channel 1 will be restricted to above ground use of mobile radios - expect channel 1 to be back in full service in 2 to 3 days
