effective immediately - channel 1 is moving to the backup transmitter
- all portables will operate on channel 2 unless assigned to a
fireground channel - when operating in traffic tunnels or subways use
Channel 4 - channel 1 will be restricted to above ground use of mobile
radios - expect channel 1 to be back in full service in 2 to 3 days

essentially - going back to the scheme they used in the 33.74 / 153.89
/ 154.265 and early UHF days (1980s iirc) - FAO will have to simulcast
on Ch 1 and Ch 2 - no mention of Ch 5 483.3125R which does work in the
subways afaik
