hook and ladder truck was blocking traffic at a previous crash on an interstate highway early on Saturday in Contra Costa County just thinking out loud - if the tesla was driving at high speed around a bend or on an incline or passing traffic that had stopped for the crash - maybe it would not have time to stop if on autopilot human drivers know that at an accident scene that some lanes might be closed - so a change of lanes might be required - or a stop might be required - a Tesla might not know this if I was barreling down the high speed lane in an empty lane with no other traffic - and could see all the traffic stopped in the 2 right lanes - I would know that something was up - perhaps a Tesla is not that smart perhaps it is even simpler than that - I approach a curve in the high speed lane at high speed - I see flares in the road - I slow down - the tesla might not even see flares -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "massfire" group.
