this says that all new pumpers in NYC are 2,000 GPM - and that the 5 satellites have 6 inch hose so it seems to me that the superpumper will have 2 primary uses - a huge foam attack piece - and a distant water supply piece - and also just a huge deck gun truck - make that 3 primary uses lol - 3 co-primary uses even overall - the FDNY pumping capability is approx 3 fireboats at 15K each ish 1 superpumper at 5K gpm plus foam plus ldh plus big gun 5 satellites at 2K each + big gun + ldh 2 trailer pumps at ?5K gpm 250 pumpers at 2K gpm each - no foam - no big gun - no ldh any cisterns in NYC? maybe central park needs a million gallon cistern - and a few of the other parks also -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "massfire" group.
