seems that fewer transmit sires are needed with low band radios than
with 800 mhz radios

not sure why really

not sure how many actually

however - low band can get interference from around the world at times
- 800 mhz does NOT get interference from around the world

33 mhz radio waves are much longer than 800 mhz radio waves - this
requires antennas to be of different lengths - it also affects how the
radio waves get thru small openings and over ridgelines etc

all of this factors into the differences between 39 mhz radio systems
and 800 mhz radio systems
