George brings up a good point. Why in the physics of optics, does
changing positions by 180 degrees not affect the observed chirality?
Since an observer could say the two have switched places, but the two
switching places still see the same thing.

Yeah, but he's mixing two different things: one, which side he's
standing on, and two, whether the view is from a mirror or not.

the guy is that an "observer would say they have changed places". ...
In any case, George is definitely just trying to confuse the issue
(and that makes it funny).

IIRC CHIRALITY IS RELATED TO STEREO ISOMERS - left handedness vs right
handedness - its a chemistry thing - mirror images - left hand vs
right hand - etc
