hyannis units switched to 'OPS 1' enroute to the fire - (this seems to be countywide SOP in Barnstable County - maybe it is only done for reported structure fires and/or major disasters) 527 am - dispatcher says maybe 1 trapped 527 am - cr 3 requests working fire with smoke showing from rte 28 528 am - car 3 reports home fully involved 529 am - Eng 2 at scene 531 am - 2nd alarm requested 532 am - need eng from wf to lay off rte 28 532 am - someone yells about 2.5 inch line 533 am - fire knocked 50% - car 3 is scratchy 537 am - request 2 ambulances for burn patients - cancel 2nd alarm units some of the mutual aid units were on OPS 1 and some were on the Hyannis TG - probably anyone assigned to the fire used OPS 1 - and anyone assigned to coverage probably used the Hyannis TG there was probably traffic on the countywide dispatch TG also - thats probably where the WF and 2nd alarm units got ordered up bottom line - 3 channels used - hyannis FD TG + OPS 1 + Countywide Disp TG one of the callsigns heard was "Engine 2 Chauffeur" -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "massfire" group.
