the highlights - quick orders for FG channel and 2nd alarm and 3rd
alarm - also quick orders for quint 44 and engine 6 / 36

sounds like this is a recording of ch 1 and ch 2

- ch 1 is 154.445 R - a repeaterized channel - the main channel

ch 2 seems to be simplex - maybe 154.025 or 153.83 - (very scratchy on
this recording) units were told to switch to "channel 2" as they
responded to the fire

some comms from ic to engines was on ch 1 however - placement of 44
and 36 for example

 - sounds like the dispatcher can talk on both ch 1 and ch 2

- we were listening from 30 miles away - could hear 154.445 R fine but
could not hear anything on 154.025 nor 153.83 -

they also have 156.075 for station dispatching

- also maybe 1 other channel for vmr / mo3 / 'mobile repeater' '
mobile extender'

id scheme - 36 is engine 6 - 37 is eng 7 - 38 is eng 8 - 39 is eng 9 -
44 is quint 4 - 45 is ladder 5 - 81 might be squad 1 / rescue pumper -
21 is car 21 is shift commander

not sure on the specifics of ht radios vs mobile radios - they seem to
use the callsigns interchanegable but there might be precise meanings
- 37 might actually be the officer on engine 7 regardless if he is on
ht or mobile radio - or it might be just hit or miss on the radio IDs
