back in 1983 Fire District 1 had 8 FT employees plus 15 seasonal employees wildfire season is only about 8 months 2015 - One seasonal patrolman is assigned to the West Tisbury fire observation tower - (not sure what that means exactly - do they have 1 person in the tower but no one to staff a fire vehicle?) there is info here about radio equipment at the towers also -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "massfire" group.
