https://www.iawfonline.org/article/united-states-evaluating-the-effectiveness-of-large-airtanker-drops/

airtankers are 12% effective - or something - (how did they get that number?)

maybe their analytical framework fell completely apart

the bottom line question is - is it worth it to use airtankers?

if they only work on shrub fires - then why use them on forest fires?

the airtankers might be a 100% total waste - we have talked about this
before - if you can only do 1 drop per hour - and the fire completely
rebuilds its fire front every 30 minutes - then the tanker drops will
never accomplish anything useful - its called REALITY
