airtankers are 12% effective - or something - (how did they get that number?) maybe their analytical framework fell completely apart the bottom line question is - is it worth it to use airtankers? if they only work on shrub fires - then why use them on forest fires? the airtankers might be a 100% total waste - we have talked about this before - if you can only do 1 drop per hour - and the fire completely rebuilds its fire front every 30 minutes - then the tanker drops will never accomplish anything useful - its called REALITY -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "massfire" group.
