can you name 4 fire departments that did not respond on the first alarm at the Palisades Fire - but should have?
note - we wont consider MRCA FD and ANF airtankers and Santa Monica Mtn NPS and any private FDs and the Hells Angels and the LA County Lifeguards and Los Angeles County Fire Brigade (whoever they are) and any helos that could have carried water but didnt (police - media - medevac - looking at you) 4 fire departments that should have responded - they are right there on the map - we just spotted them - they are right there! - https://www.google.com/maps/d/edit?mid=1_w7H8a8E4m1L6MxvKJgBKUAljvo&usp=sharing 1. santa monica fd 2. ucla fd 3. pepperdine university fd 4. corral canyon vfc NOTE - there is no ground access to the fire area from the north - everyone had to drive north from station 23 - this is what really killed them - no access from north and no rigs on patrol up in the fire area - it was a long run from station 23 - too long - that killed them Plus the fact was huge before 911 even got called - how did that happen? thats unpossible - was everyone texting about the fire instead of calling 911? yikes - what dumbies - that really killed them plus they didnt put every firefighter on duty there you have it - 3 striked and you are out - no patrols - slow reporting - no real upstaffing - strike one - strike two - strike three - YOU'RE OUT! -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "massfire" group.
