back around 1982 there was a guy that used to sing or play there for money - maybe a black guy - maybe around 20 or 25 - he was very good - maybe he played a harmonica - been so long now - cant remember exactly what he did - but he was great - used to really enjoy listening to him - you could get out of the rain there and still be available for calls actually - need to confirm if that was SE corner - seems to be right - unless there is a 17th street subway entrance also on the corner - but we remember the entrance being on the SE corner of the intersection - we could sit there and look directly into the park iirc -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "massfire" group.
