depuuty fire chiefs will have tone activated monitors at home

police car horns will be sounded by dispatcher (no portable radios back then)

iirc it was all on 158.76 - Unit 3 was ID for police dispatcher - car
39 was the patrol wagon / ambulance - Unit 5 was the fire dispatcher -
Car 55 was the deputy chief / platoon chief / OIC iirc - Unit 7 was
the DPW dispatcher

was 59 the FD rescue truck aka rescue 1?

there was and still is a 100 foot steel antenna tower on top of the
police station on central street - never knew that they had a base on
park circle also - but it makes sense - not sure how they switched
back and forth
