DPA = direct protection area https://share.google/aimode/6f1z6bE97WAhV60BQ
seems that DPA is essentially the same as what structural FDs call 'first due area" ==================== on a related note - Angeles National Forest is 99% within Los Angles County - but the ANF does extend into Ventura County and San Bernardino County - but it is not DPA because the 2 areas are legally part of ANF (no matter what county they are in) - https://share.google/aimode/4FX35VnpQbpQvg85Q National Forests routinely extend across multiple counties. Looks like 4 NF extend across 3 states each - https://share.google/aimode/OEiBDHWZojz2x5f2Q -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "massfire" group.
