I use mrxvt every day too. I actually like it that mrxvt doesn't do UTF-8; I often cut and paste commands from an e-mail client or web browser - if I paste a "smart quote" it looks like gibberish, and that's a good thing because bash will interpret it as gibberish anyway. But I do miss UTF-8 when gcc outputs error messages that assume smart quotes work. -- Dan Stromberg
