Hi,

        PS1 is set to '[EMAIL PROTECTED] \W]\$' minus the quotes (these are 
RedHat
boxes).  So are you saying that it should be working?

My mrxvt-0.5.4 displays tab titles just fine. What exactly is the value
of your $PS1?

For better compatibility with xterm, we changed an escape sequence
between 0.4.x & 0.5.x. IIRC the sequences that displayed tab / window
titles changed.
