Dear colleagues, We are pleased to announce the upcoming international conference at LMU Munich:
The Syntax and Semantics of Formalisations in Philosophy (SSFP) This interdisciplinary conference aims to investigate how formalisation techniques influence both the syntactic and semantic representation of philosophical concepts, and how such techniques can be used to address core philosophical questions. The event will bring together researchers working on the intersection of philosophy, logic, formal semantics, and related areas. Our program will feature four keynote lectures: - Anna Brożek (University of Warsaw) - Georg Brun (University of Bern) - Sven Ove Hansson (Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm) - Catarina Dutilh Novaes (Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam) There will also be eight talks by contributed speakers: - Carolin Antos (University of Konstanz) - Ludovica Conti (University of Vienna) - Michael Hladky (University of Geneva) - Patricia Marino (University of Waterloo) - Perceval Pillon (Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne) - Lassi Saario (University of Helsinki) - Nevo Spiegel (Tel Aviv University) - Bobby Vos (University of Toronto) Besides these talks, there will also be a poster session where graduate students of LMU are given the opportunity to present their relevant work. We warmly invite all scholars working in relevant fields to attend, as well as anyone interested in formal philosophy. Since space is limited, we recommend that you register early using this registration form: https://forms.gle/fwmY2Bhmnad3Wt2Y6 We look forward to welcoming you in Munich!
